Statement Regarding Our September 26 Beach Ceremony
Lone Star Events generally does not respond publicly to client disputes. However, because statements and photographs concerning our company, this event, and individuals involved have now been circulated publicly and shared to other pages, we believe it is appropriate to clarify several facts.
The September 26 ceremony was contracted as a basic ceremony service, with a scheduled 4:00 PM arrival/setup time and a 6:00 PM ceremony start time. Lone Star Events was present at the beach and provided ceremony seating, aisle décor, decorative elements, audio equipment, ceremony accessories, setup, and teardown as contracted.
We acknowledge that 26 of the contracted 30 chairs were provided, resulting in a shortage of four chairs.
The contracted wooden arch was brought to the event but was not erected because of the wind conditions and the safety risk presented by securing a large wooden structure on the beach. We understand the client's disappointment that the arch was not used.
Regarding officiating services, the Lone Star Events officiant was present, prepared, and available to conduct the ceremony. During setup, we were informed that another officiant would be conducting the ceremony.
We have preserved original photographs and videos from the event, including timestamped images documenting our presence, the setup, the ceremony site at and around the scheduled ceremony start time, and the event itself.
We will not publicly attack or engage in personal commentary about the bride, groom, their family members, or anyone else involved. Likewise, we will not participate in public discussion concerning anyone's physical appearance, personal characteristics, or health.
We respect every client's right to express an opinion about their experience. At the same time, Lone Star Events reserves the right to correct factual statements concerning the services we provided.
Because this matter has now been referred for legal guidance, this will be our only public statement regarding this dispute at this time.
