This twisting n’ turning Sci-fi story spirals inward & outward, finds us lost, and then brings us back to ourselves— while also reminding us to cherish the time we have with the ones we hold dear.
I’d love to share time & space with you at 6pm tomorrow, within the 4 magical walls of Fuse Theatre Ensemble’s Back Door Theatre, as we of The Bard Party bring you DAVE DAVINCI SAVES THE UNIVERSE! 💫
Featuring the awesome talents of Victoria Sugga Alvarez-Chacon, Caitlin Margo Fisher-Draeger, and Joey Copsey — and wherein you get to witness Phillip J. Berns & yours truly portray time-tripping past/ future versions of each other 🤯 … amid these trying times, we look forward to partying with you, asking some big questions alongside you & reveling in some much-needed laughter with you while we’re at it!
All the proceeds from our ✨GAY AF✨(give as you’re able, friends) ticket sales will go toward benefitting Fuse Theatre, as well as The Trevor Project 🧡

We of The Bard Party have some fun Sci-fi Theatre realness coming to you live this Sunday evening: DAVE DAVINCI SAVES THE UNIVERSE, at Fuse Theatre Ensemble!!
Sci-fi. Dram-edy. With a peppering of thriller. Yeah, this play checks a lot of genre boxes… and our reading of it will feature the awesome talents of Victoria Sugga Alvarez-Chacon, Caitlin Margo Fisher-Draeger, Joey Copsey — not to mention Phillip J. Berns & myself, as time-traveling multiversal versions of one another!!! A phenomenon almost 15 years in the making, if you ask me 😉
(((And big special heartfelt GRATITUDE to our Benefactor since day 1, Ronni Lacroute, and our sponsor/ co-producer/ teammate, Stefan Feuerherdt — the Party is not & cannot be what it is without YOU.)))
—And one more thing, a quick favor to ask:
We’re going grassroots with this venture, like we did in the old days (but what is time anyway, right? Hint hint…) and so we’re not building a ticket presale site this time around. 🌈New week = new manifesting, so let’s get TO IT, Fam:

The Bar(d) Party and Fuse Theatre Ensemble have joined forces to bring you a bit of horror for the holidays!
For one night only, ensemble members of The Bar(d) Party will perform a semi-staged reading of Carlos Cisco's biting, fast-paced zombie apocalypse thriller/ dark comedy, THE LAST DAYS (last seen in PDX as a full production at Post5 Theatre Co in fall ‘13)!
-The play zooms in on four individuals who have isolated themselves from the horde of ravenous undead in an abandoned cabin outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and have established some small sense of normalcy for themselves. But when an unexpected tragedy strikes the household and tensions among them rapidly mount, they find themselves battling not only each other, but the existential shakedown that comes with the question: "At the edge of existence, where does the human end... and the monster begin?"

🔥Alright PDX Fam,
It’s time to let it be known:
The BARD PARTY is back in action later this month!!
It’s been quite a few hawt minutes since we’ve gathered in a room with our hometown crowd, but the time is NIGH, and we’re PUMPED to be bringing something a bit different to you…
A semi-staged reading of 🩸THE LAST DAYS🩸by Carlos Cisco — our favorite zombie apocalypse thriller play!🔥
-This play was performed as a full production by Post5 Theatre in the fall of 2013, and we figured that 11 years later, it was high time to give more of our community members a taste of this gruesome, high octane & darkly witty piece of Theatre — which also serves to illuminate both BIPOC & Q***r voices/ characters!
-This more stripped-down, quick-fire & communal telling of this tale will be taking place at Fuse Theatre Ensemble on Sunday, 11/24 @ 6pm. Doors @ 530pm, and the Bar will be OPEN throughout, in true Bard Party form!! And, in true FUSE form, tickets to the show will be “GAYAF” (give as you’re able, friends)! Let’s - effing - GO.
-And because we of the BP never party without giving back, there will also be a TBA cause, non-profit, or charity that we’ll be raising awareness & funds for! So bring your ducats, your fiery heart, your gift of spirit & your sense of PLAY! And please tip your bartender 😉
