A short story about power in Mer’ca:
You get the Swamp.
Congratulations. You’re powerful.
Unfortunately, you’re also now a giant target.
Someone plays Unfit for Service.
Things go badly.
You lose everything.
Tragic.
But Mer’ca believes in second chances.
Well…
one second chance.
The 25th Amendment Appeal can bring a player back into the game—with a Region helpfully taken from somebody who was doing perfectly fine without your involvement.
Power.
Downfall.
Comeback.
And probably revenge.
That’s a pretty normal afternoon in Mer’ca.

Turns out Mer’ca plays pretty much anywhere.
Dinner tables. Back porches. Restaurants. Family gatherings where everyone was getting along just a little too well.
The rules are simple: protect your Regions, pile Chaos onto everyone else’s, steal power when the opportunity presents itself, and try to be the last one standing.
The strategy?
Highly questionable.
The alliances?
Temporary.
The accusations?
Immediate.
Nobody has to agree. Everybody has to draw.

Get some people together.
Pick a Region.
Pretend you’re forming an alliance.
Immediately violate the terms of that alliance.
Spend the next hour creating entirely avoidable problems for people you supposedly care about.
Then order pizza.
No party to root for. No point to prove.

If you are trying to decide what to do today, it is the International Day of Charity. We love our rescue animals and veterans and think those are good causes. We even made "Hero" cards for them in our game; these help remove chaos cards from regions.

Our cofounder Bryan is a Veteran and four of our founders have rescue animals shooting hair, being ridiculously cute, and filling our homes with laughter.

Simple rules.
Glorious chaos.

Happy National Beard Day (because, why not? 🤣) We're celebrating with a fresh drop of cards from our game - The Anti-Hero set! These sneaky cards are like the beards of the game world - they remove chaos from one place and mischievously relocate it elsewhere 😜... sort of like those videos of babies seeing their dads after shaving for the first time! And honestly, who doesn't love a good beard (or a good dose of chaos)? 🤔 Count us in! Bring on the beards... and the chaos! 💥
