Another fun Mosquito Fleet Fest in downtown Port Orchard Waterfront and the Polaris Theater Backstage Alley happily set up a Family Fun Zone! Thanks to our Board members who helped coordinate, set up and volunteer! Special thanks to our Gilligan’s Island Costume Contest winner! Ginger- the movie star! Better known as Julie- you looked gorgeous!
Next up - passing out popcorn to our SK Grads at the Grad Parade June 5th and our first Kids Market July 11th! Message for more info!

What kind of Family Fun is taking place tomorrow/Saturday from 1 to 4pm at the Polaris Backstage Alley?
**Kids 'fishing', bubble machine, chalk drawing, Coloring sheets, Mosquito Fleet word search, follow the Mosquito Fleet Map, and make origami boats and sailor hats! All free!

**AND our Gilligan's Island Castaway Character Costume Contest!! For kids and adults. Come dressed as your favorite Castaway, get your photo taken and end of day winners will be chosen.(Need not be present to win!)
Character Costume Ideas
• Gilligan: Red shirt, jeans, and a white sailor hat.
• Skipper: Navy blue polo, white pants, and a sailor hat.
• Mary Ann: Red gingham top, blue shorts, and pigtails.
• Ginger: Glamorous evening gown, typically emerald green, with a red wig.
• Thurston & Lovey Howell: Rich, island-chic attire (linen suits, pearls, and sun hats).

Prizes: $10 Bay Street Bucks for adults, $10 The Candy Shoppe Gifts and Treats cards for kids and a trophy for best groups (2 or more)

Gilligan’s Island Castaway Character Costume Contest on Saturday, May 23rd at the Polaris Backstage Alley!!
Will you be the Skipper? MaryAnne? The Professor or Gilligan?
Put your costume together, we will take your photo and enter you in our contest. Winners will be selected at end of the day for each of the 7 characters for kids and for adults. Prizes!
Break out those shorts, sailor hats, slinky gowns, white gloves and purse and captains hats-Get to planning your costume!

This coming weekend May 23rd/24th is Mosquito Fleet Fest! And the Polaris Backstage Alley has a Family Fun Zone planned from 1 to 4pm on Saturday! Lots of FREE kids and family activities AND a Gilligan's Island Castaway Character Costume Contest! Kids and Adults -dress as your favorite Castaway character, have your photo taken and you might win prizes!
