I took my first art class Senior year of high school. The first project was an oil pastel landscape. My teacher loved it and entered it into a competition where I won 3rd place! Never used pastels again, not for any real reason just moved on to other mediums. Then somewhere around 17 years ago I purchased some soft pastels from an art store on a visit to Bremerton. They sat in my art supplies for years. So I busted them out and started playing around. Here's an apple, likely a Honey Crisp... what's your favorite kind of apple?
