On a cold windy day like today it’s hard to imagine warm beach days! I have just the solution! Wrap in this cozy sweatshirt and let the beach vibes take you away! First day back sewing after my mastectomy and I am totally in love with today’s creation! I think after all of this cold icy weather we could all use some warm beach days! This tranquil sunset design is perfect to get us through the winter and then will be great for cool nights on the beach this summer. I will be making more of these this week. They are all made using repurposed quilts so each one is different and unique. These are $30 each and will be available for porch pick ups this weekend. This one is an XL

Sadly today will be my last day at Sutton River Antiques. Around Christmas I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My doctors originally thought that I would only need surgery so I had a double mastectomy but unfortunately they found it had spread to my lymph nodes so I’ll be getting chemo and radiation. I will still be crafting and sewing and hopefully will be able to do the occasional craft show but I knew I couldn’t commit to keeping my booth full so I made the hard decision to close my shop at Sutton River. So if you want to grab a quilted sweatshirt, hankie hairbows or wood art from my shop today is the last day.
