Hey, everyone! This Friday, MEIC is collaborating with the Games Room Etc. to host a fun Halloween event! We’re having two student bands perform, a Halloween costume contest, an opportunity drawing, and free play at the pool tables! And to top it all off, there’s free food! Come and hang out this Friday from 5-9pm in the Games Room! Bring your friends!

Quick reminder for the homies: meeting in about ten minutes!

We'll be having a meeting tomorrow, sorry it's been a couple weeks since you've since all our beautiful faces.

No MEIC meeting this week while we plan what’s next for the club. Thanks for understanding.

About 4 hours until set-up time for Metal Night Masquerade!

We’ll be passing out flyers again today, so please meet in room 159 first.

MEIC meeting and EPK/PR Workshop in about a half an hour!

No meeting this week so you guys can stuff your face with hot dogs over in University Park outside of the BSC! Please come to the meeting next week though so we can finalize details on Metal Night and we’ll be having a workshop on EPKs, online press, and music journalism.

Hello buds, tomorrow we're actually not going to have a meeting, so enjoy eating lunch and what not! Thanks!

Heyo, meeting on 9/20 in the same ol' place, same ol' time. Stay cool.

Ello ello! Don’t forget, we have our weekly MEIC meeting tomorrow in Room 159 in the Music Building at 12pm. See ya there or see ya square!

Hey everybody, tomorrow will be the first official MEIC meeting of this academic year. Same place, same time (Room 159 in the Music Building at 12pm)! Look forward to seein’ all you rascals and plan some sweet concerts. 👍

My apologies for the short notice but we’ll be having a brief meeting today (usual time/place) to discuss and decide roles for next year

Just found this out, Never Shout Never will be playing in Bronco Commons this Friday. Like what?

Heyo all, we'll be having a meeting tomorrow during U-Hour (12pm - 1pm) at either room 159 or 160 (just meet us at the couches and which room will be determined then). We're trying to plan some events for next year and welcoming any newcomers.

Hey everybody, as you may know, there are no scheduled MEIC concerts for this quarter, so we're pretty much chilling and preparing for the next academic year.

Unrelated: INSOMNIAC (music festival company known for Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Forest, Hard Summer, etc.) will be coming to speak on campus on 4/26. Everyone should try to attend because it's a great opportunity for getting connections and a job. Event will occur in the Orion Suite in the BSC from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.

Tonight is the night everyone! Please arrive early to set-up for the event. I need some peeps on balloon-blowing and zombie face paint duty. If you live in the dorms of the Village, do a last-minute spreading of the word there too. Thanks!

I'll be out in front of the BSC handing out Metal Night flyers during U-Hour. Come out and help if you're free!

Heyo kiddos, we’re meeting up in our usual spot at 12pm for a quick meeting, then out to handing out Metal Night flyers.

Please come to today’s meeting so we can discuss Metal Night (3/2) if you’re available, thanksies!

Hey crew, we won't be having a meeting this week, so I'll list all talking points below:

- Thanks to all who showed up at Rap Night last week! We raised $80 for the dogs at Priceless Pet Rescue. I hope you enjoyed Dope By Design and SE Frank. If you're unfamiliar with The Dope Spot Studios, Tyrone from Dope by Design is the main dude behind it. Check it out, they host shows, record music, run internships, etc.

- NAMM starts this Thursday (1/25) and will go until Sunday (1/28). If you're going and need a ride, hit me up and we can try to carpool and what not.

- Indie Night is coming up! It'll be on February 9th at 6:30 pm - 10pm in the Games Room. Lineup includes Bear Fight, Modern Anchor, Music By Quinn, and Ariel Valdez. Theme of the show is Stranger Things so Eggo waffles will be for sale and cosplay is welcome. We should have the poster soon, but please start spreading the word.

Hey all, please attend our meeting today so we can go over everything regarding Rap for Dogs tomorrow night and more!

Hey everyone! There is an upcoming event in L.A. that seems like a great networking opportunity for anybody interested in media and entertainment. Check it out!

Hey guys, for those that don't know me, I'm an Alumni of Cal Poly and I run a business called The Dope Spot Studios in Pomona where we also provide Housing for Artists and Musicians.

We currently have a Room available at our spot for $500/month and it includes utilities.

Please pass this information along to anyone you think would be interested in living with other artists and musicians and would like to be a part of The Dope Spot brand by contributing to what we are currently and striving to do for our community.

Thank you for your time and please feel free to contact me directly here or on our website at
Hey everyone, my name is Luna and I work for Campus Movie Fest, the world's largest student film festival!

CMF is back at CPP this year and it’s a great opportunity for students to make their own 5-minute short film in a week. We provide all the necessities -- from cameras, to laptops loaded with Adobe Creative Cloud, to 24/7 technical support -- all to help shape ideas into short films.

The competition is open to all majors and the films can be about anything -- comedy, drama, music video, vlogs, documentaries etc. The best part is this experience is 100% free for all students. The Top 16 films will be showcased at the university and the Top 4 films move on to our national grand finale!

The movie-making week begins November 7th but I'll be on campus with my team all week so feel free to stop by and chat with us!

For more information check out our Facebook event page.
For those interested in audio recording. Tickets are $10
