Headliner musician highlight!! Today we’ve got the legendary Lee Rafugee

Lee Rafugee is a four-piece rock and roll band based in Salt Lake City, Utah, known for their groove-driven, unpredictable sound that blends rock, blues, funk, and atmospheric Americana.

The group formed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to “break on through” a difficult and uncertain time. Their music spans from the melancholic, soulful tones of old-school singers to the loose, free-flowing energy of bands like The Band of Gypsys or Gary Clark Jr..
They are described as raw, exploratory, and groove-oriented, with songs that mix structured arrangements with improvisation, making each live performance unique.

We can’t wait to have them groove with us this year!

“Transcending the confines of one signature style, Moon Owl’s Mages find themselves bending genres and trying new ideas to keep the creativity from stagnating. Their first two releases, “Skelly Bones & the Flaming Crown” (2020) and “Kill The Crackle” (2022) solidified their footprint in the Boise psych rock scene. Their new album “Step On It!” released in March 2025 explores the funkier and jammier side of their eclectic musical inspirations. Moon Owl’s Mages’ enigmatic grimoire is sure to leave you guessing what you’ll hear at their next show — whether it be on their home turf or all throughout the West Coast.”

Guys!! 8 Days until Shady Grove Downtown! Here’s our schedule for music- make sure to start your morning off right at Glean Coffee Roasters (11am-2pm) then catch us after the farmers market beginning at lookout point from 3pm - 10pm.

Our Musician highlight of the day is: LOOT

LOOT is a five-piece hip-hop fusion band from Pocatello, Idaho, known for blending hip-hop, funk, and jazz with high-energy performances and rapid-fire, lyric-rich raps. The group was formed in 2019 by Jesse Frey, who serves as the frontman and creative leader.

Musician highlight!
Stubborn Moth is a modern fusion quintet based out of Pocatello, Idaho, blending innovative original compositions with an electrifying mix of jazz, progressive rock, and funk. The group is led by Jon Armstrong, the Director of Jazz Studies and Commercial Music at Idaho State University, featuring a lineup of ISU students, alumni, and local faculty.

Madrona is an indie-folk duo turned 5 piece spanning Montana and Idaho, widely recognized for their distinct "Cosmic American West" musical style. Founded and fronted by musicians Jake and Amanda Tillo, the act blends atmospheric melodies with intricate vocal harmonies to weave rich narratives of hope and despair.
