We are saddened to hear of the passing of Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman. We are huge Ghostbusters nerds here at Lucy’s. There are nods to that iconic film in both The Basement and The Garage. While this is our favorite film he directed,he also gave us classics like Meatballs,Stripes,Twins and Kindergarten Cop. Whilst producing other incredible films like Animal House and Heavy Metal. He will definitely be missed. What’s some of you favorite Reitman films?

On this day February 1, 1964 I Want To Hold Your Hand became the first No. 1 hit song of The Beatles in the US. That song was the one that started the "Beatlemania" and the "British invasion" within the US.
The song entering the Billboard Hot 100 chart on 18 January 1964 at number 45. By 1 February it topped the Hot 100, and stayed there for seven weeks before being replaced by "She Loves You". It remained on the Billboard chart for 15 weeks.
After finally achieving a number-one hit in America, the Fab Four came to the United States with high hopes, performing on the widely popular Ed Sullivan Show both in New York City and Miami Beach and playing concerts at Carnegie Hall and the Washington Coliseum. In just 15 short days, the Beatles conquered America.
