To Our Valued Club Members and Winery Guests, There is no higher priority than the safety of our club members, guests, and employees. Bag the Bird
Our Peacock Patch Zinfandel got its name from these beautiful creatures that roam around the vineyard! Working with nature, rather than against it, is the central tenet of sustainable and biodynamic farming! A reminder that Bag the Bird is still in full affect. Be the lucky winner and find one of the Wild Peacock Labels hidden randomly throughout our 2014 vintage of Peacock Patch Zinfandel!
Mello Cielo Bus Tour
Want a more personal tasting experience this Summer? Hop on the Mello Cielo Bus and get a behind the scenes tour of our vineyard and production facility! Throughout the experience you sample wines from our current vintages as well as some still aging in the barrel. Enjoy a food and wine pairing and finish off with Ruby Hill port and chocolate!

Made this last night in my cast iron skillet! Parmesan and cheddar cheese with Angel hair pasta in a spicy Turkey marinara sauce. Ruby Hill Winery 2016 Zinfandel does not disappoint! Full bodied, black fruit, medium oak with hints of vanilla. A nice smooth finish. I highly recommend this Ruby Hill for the Zinfandel lover’s. Review by- Debra A Robinson

Ruby Hill Winery
Ruby Hill Winery was founded in 1887 by John Crellin. He called the area "Ruby Hill" because the soil was red and clay-like. Crellin ran one of the largest winemaking operations in the valley before passing the estate to his sons.
Eventually, the winery was sold to another family, who proudly called the product of our Estate the "Gem of Wines." Ruby Hill wines continued to gain acclaim for their quality throughout the 1900s before the land was sold again in 1974.
By 1983, Friends of the Vineyard, a local non-profit, was banding together to save the vines from being torn out and the land developed. The land was redeemed in 2002 to be restored to its former glory as a winery.
The Ruby Hill Tasting Room as it is today opened in 2008, and the winery is proud to be open 7 days a week to all who wish to enjoy the luxury of the Livermore Valley!
