There are a few spots left in the marbling class I'm teaching next Saturday, July 25, at Sawtooth School for Visual Art in Winston-Salem.

This half-day experience (10am - 3pm) is going to be a lot of fun! First we'll explore traditional Japanese suminagashi, the oldest known style of marbling, which is very organic and free-form - just water and ink and air.

I'm also bringing a tank and tools to demonstrate European / western combed marbling with acrylic paints, and everyone will have a chance to take turns making their own patterns, with me coaching every step of the way.

You'll be amazed at what you can create! Make a day of it by exploring some of Winston's fun downtown establishments after class🍺🍷
