llena, over the years has become many things to many a folk. For those fortunate travelers that’s found their way to its doors; The White Myst Tavern has provided a safe haven for creatures, and critters of all creed and profession. Being here at the White Myst means warm crackling fires in warm welcoming hearths on long cold nights. Inviting scents of leather, and oak, married together with roasting meats on open spits, bubbling caldrons of hearty stew for hungry travelers, and safe warm beds to rest a weary head. Needless to say, the realms finest honey mead, mystic river whiskey, and magical cocktails being served by the infamous bar keep of Myst Aneirin Pride, who somehow always seems to know just what you need. Music mingling with the sounds of laughter, shouts of victory and the occasional moans of pleasure or passing could be heard both day and night. While the echoes of steal meeting its mark on targets strategically placed around the tavern, as games of skill between its inhabitance on any given day was just as common. Be it far from me to tell you that its all smiles and happy faces, there are always those lurking in the shadows, spying from the rafters or making deals in the far back tables just out of sight. For there can be death as well as beauty under one roof. Though, the nights celebrations we’re far from slowing down as you find your own way the enchanted doors. Welcome Traveler to the White Myst Tavern. Drachenfest 23 made a lifelong dream of mine become a reality. I first created the WhiteMyst Tavern in 1995 in AOL chat rooms, as a hang out for my group of RPG friends. The Tavern soon became a hit! Factions started to grow within the tavern, and the tavern into a realm. High Mages of Waterdeep, Deamons seeking contracts, Vampires seeking a lusty drink off tap, Mercenary’s posting and redeeming bounties, Black market traders and many more started to call the Tavern home. The Lore was created, and the Realms of Myst was born. The Tavern itself being a portal hub that can travel between worlds to all known and unknown realms to provide aid to those in need, while staying connected to its home Realms of Myst. We became home away from home, a safe space for individuals that needed a place they could escape the mundane world and just feel wanted, needed, and a part of something bigger then themselves that they too had a hand in creating some of the most amazing stories. It was my dream to be able to take the White Myst Tavern off line and into the real world. Now that Dream has become a reality and were so excited to be able to make each new year more amazing then the last as we get to spend it with some of the most amazing people.
