✨ MEET THE CAST ✨

Ella Simon (ROSENCRANTZ) is a junior in high school at the Math, Science, and Arts Academy West in Plaquemine. She is a member of Troupe 11022, and a part of her school’s talented theatre program. During her time in the school theatre program, she has earned many accolades, including first place overall in the monologue category at the Louisiana Jr Thespian Festival in 2023 with Viola’s monologue from Act 3 Scene 2 of Twelfth Night. Some of her most notable Shakespeare roles are Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Maria in Twelfth Night. This is her first show with the Louisiana Shakespeare Company, and she is excited to now be a part of the LSC family. She would like to give a special thanks to her high school theatre teacher, Ms Guidry, for guiding her to be the actor she is today.

The Magic Is Already Beginning ✨🎭
We may be months away from opening night, but our Talented Theatre kiddos are already putting in the WORK! 💪🎭

From learning choreography and building characters to collaborating, creating, and pushing themselves outside their comfort zones, these students took their Saturday to layout the foundation for something truly special. There’s a little bit of whimsy, wonder, and wonderfully wild imagination happening in the rehearsal room—and we can’t wait to see where their creativity takes us! ✨

The show may still be a secret… but one thing isn’t: These kids are ready to make some magic. 🌟
