The drum is a sacred remembrance for women

When we tap into the primordial sound of drumming, a lot of ancestral healing happens.

We remember where we came from.

We tap into the first sound that a child hears in the womb ā€” the heartbeat of the Mother.

We heal the Mother wound by playing this sound.

We honor our lineage, the mothers and grandmothers who brought us here through their wombs.

How can we create a culture that supports women?

The first is by the way women speak to one another.

A lot of mainstream culture encourages women to gossip, to talk behind each otherā€™s backs, to undermine one another, to compare, and to be in constant competition with other women.

This type of communication is destructive. It erodes trust, cuts deeply, & leads to a culture of violence in the world.

When we take back the power of our voices and use it instead to speak life into women, magic happens.

Women learn how to see themselves in another woman and have compassion.

Women learn how to speak from their heart to another woman.

Women learn how to receive love again.

Women feel seen and understood.

Women feel safe and like they belong.

Our words HEAL and have the power to affect whole households, families, and communities.

When we speak life into women, we are creating a culture of peace in the world šŸŒŽ

The Earth is opening.

Beltane is here.

This is the threshold between spring and summer, the moment when life stops merely awakening and becomes fully, unapologetically alive.

The Earth is in full bloom. The body hums with knowing. The heart cracks open to let more in.

Beltane is a remembering: you are not standing apart from this wildness. You are the bloom. You are the fire. You are life force moving into form.

This is the season to let what wants to grow through you, actually grow.

To honor your desires without apology. To celebrate this body that breathes and feels and creates. To say yes to pleasure, to aliveness, to the thing that has been building quietly inside you, and finally let it move.

And to gather.

Because this kind of energy is not meant to be held alone. There is something ancient and immediate that stirs when women come together at this time of year. Joy becomes medicine. Witnessing becomes activation. Presence becomes prayer.

The Capricorn New Moon at 29Ā° Capricorn calls us into the sacred space between endings and beginnings. This is not a loud moon. This is a threshold moon.
