Talarico or Paxton… it’s like choosing between lice or fleas—-
So its come down to this in the Texas Fall election —- elect a Wolf in Sheep’s clothing or a Political Scaliwag.
The former candidate portrays himself as a young moderate gay man who is an ordained minister. He is part of the ‘tax the rich cause that’s the fix’, while quoting the bible (except for the portions that disagree with his personal lifestyle). He’s an ‘open border’ nut, and “defund the police” kind of guy who wants to truly turn Texas into California with Cowboy Boots. Tax and Spend all the way to poverty for all. Uh, no thanks.
The latter is a hard core conservative who has likely never even cracked open a bible by my estimation. A divorced philanderer of the higest order who has gained riches on a modest salary while in office—- one who has actually been impeached by his own party members (he was cleared) for multiple acts of conduct and malfeasance. He is a hard man to respect, much less vote for regardless of your party.
Is this really the best we can do?
