As many of you know, I’ve got an obsession with Circle City Wh***ey Company and probably have one of the largest collections of their bottles. With 64 bottles on my shelf, I figured it was finally time to determine one thing…

Which Circle City bottle is my favorite?

To find out, I built a 64-bottle single-elimination bracket, matching similar whiskies and finishes against each other whenever possible. Every matchup is tasted completely blind using the Chris Chapanar | Wh***ey Noobs Solo Blind.

For this tournament, I’m using a simplified scoring system rather than my normal review format:
🥃 Taste: 50 points
👃 Nose: 35 points
🔥 Finish: 15 points
Total: 100 points

🥃 Round 2 – Pennington Parlay

Two local wh***ey groups selected Pennington single barrels that quickly developed a reputation for their bold spice and funky character. Both are 6 years, 7 months old and share the same 60/35/5 Corn/Rye/Malted Barley mash bill from Pennington Distillery.
