Sat. July 11 - 🎞️20th Anniversary screening on the only 35mm film print in existence! THE GUATEMALAN HANDSHAKE w/director Todd Rohal in attendance for Q&A.

Shot on 35mm in Harrisburg, PA by former Pittsburgh Filmmakers professor, Richie Sherman. Starring Will Oldham (Bonnie “Prince” Billy).

In the confusion following a massive power outage, an awkward demolition derby driver vanishes, setting in motion a series of events affecting his pregnant girlfriend, his helplessly car-less father, a pack of wild boy scouts, a lactose intolerant roller rink employee, an elderly woman in search of her lost dog, and his best friend—a ten-year-old girl named Turkeylegs.

is a female vinyl DJ from Pittsburgh, PA playing all the best in femme-forward music from diverse genres including indie, punk, alt and folk. Weird Mothers began as a night at Whisper Nest in Millvale and evolved into an online radio show on Radiocrown. She can be found monthly on third Fridays with at their 180 Minutes residency at Four Points Brewing on Western Ave in the Northside.
