On my way home from the Chiropractor this morning, I spent some time in the Southside Riverfront Park and then the Color Park. It was just a few months ago that I found out that the Color Park existed!

The air is still bad. Improved over yesterday. Still trying not to go outside too much. But, I need to be out there awhile for motivation! I have tons of daylillies ready to bloom. Only a handful have popped open so far. The deer already ate most of the tall orange ones that start blooming in June. I am spraying Liquid Fence around every day to keep them away!! I saw a deer right over in the neighbor's yard yesterday afternoon. A lot of my yard is still quite like a jungle. Here are some photos from the mostly tame part. I don't tame it all the way. I like the giant pokeweed patch that comes up every year. I like to leave those clumps of clover for the bees. I have some plantain in a few areas and also a bunch of common mallow all over. Good thing for the mallow since it can be used for irritation of the mouth and throat, dry cough, and bronchitis. It sure comes in handy for treating irritation due to bad air quality.
