Sick of losing the Ticketmaster hunger games? Yeah, us too. That's literally why we started BassPass.
We're just a bunch music nerds who got tired of missing shows and decided to try something different.
Here's our simple idea: What if buying concert tickets didn't suck? What if there was a way to get into shows at face value? What if there were no bots to compete with? Or no refreshing your browser like a maniac?
Remember when you could actually see what you were paying upfront? When a $30 ticket didn't turn into $96.75 at checkout? The old system would show you one price, then pile on "service fees," "facility charges," and "order processing" until you wanted to rage-quit.
Here's one of the ways we are doing things differently: Our price is the real price. No surprises at checkout. If a ticket costs $35 all-in, that's what you see from the start. Sure, taxes still apply (that's the law), but everything else? It's already in there. Transparent. Simple. The way it should be.
We're starting small - working with a handful of venues and promoters who also think the current system is broken and want to do something about it.
If you're tired of seeing "SOLD OUT" in 8 seconds while StubHub somehow has 500 tickets at 5x the price, maybe give us a shot.
We're building this thing one venue at a time. Want to help us figure it out?
