Prior to our trip, one of our scholars was nominated to receive an instrument through the Farina Foundation — and we are thrilled to share that Adriese was selected as a recipient! As part of the process, he wrote an essay about how having his own saxophone would help him grow as a musician and achieve his goals.

Adriese is now the proud owner of a beautiful Selmer alto saxophone — and of course, it made its debut in New Orleans!🎷

A huge thank you to our friends at the Farina Foundation for their generosity and continued support of young musicians. Opportunities like this truly change lives and help our students thrive both on and off the stage.

And just like that, the New Orleans portion of our trip is complete! The Marching Band and Chamber Choir are now en route to Nashville! 🎸🤠🪕

Congrats to the Marching Band for a lively performance through all 3.5 HOURS and 4 MILES of the Krewe of King Arthur Parade! They kept the crowd entertained!🥳
