I know I’m a day late but these past two days have been pretty emotional. Kobe Bryant was my favorite player in the entire world. He was involved in all of my earliest basketball memories. He was a superhero to me and I idolized everything about his game. The attitude, approach and dedication he showed was admirable beyond words. Getting older, u start to learn that loss is a part of life. Everyone experiences it and handles it a different way, and when losing two of my idols in such a short time (Kobe and Mac Miller), I was unbelievably sad and couldn’t understand why this would happen. After some time, instead of sitting around feeling sorry for myself, it was apparent to me that this isn’t what my idols would want. They’d want me to get off my ass and chase my dreams because life is short. We have to continue to spread love in this world while we’re here and make loving impressions on each soul we meet. I’m so thankful to have been alive to watch Kobe play and been blessed by Mac’s music. Until we meet again fellas, thank you for being HEROS in my life 🙏💸😢

Roberto Clemente icon featuring the Clemente Bridge. Roberto has been a lifelong inspiration of mine, as well as millions across the world due to his efforts both on and off the field. Roberto strived to make this world a better place, and represented the city of Pittsburgh with extreme pride ⚾️💸

Probably the most challenging assignment I’ve done in graphic design so far, but I finally feel like I’m getting a better understanding of Adobe Illustrator. The goal was to make a poster for a fake event using primarily isometric shapes. Inspired by the mixtape Flight School by Wiz Khalifa, I really enjoyed making this piece showing love to the Pittsburgh legend #412 🤙💸🐐 @ Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Really enjoyed drawing this piece due to my admiration for and what he does both on and off the court. LeBron is not only one of the greatest hoopers of all time, but an absolute class act as well. Rather than being content with his superstar status, LeBron uses his platform to inspire and be a role model to millions throughout the world. Thank you to Pittsburgh legend for also inspiring me with his art. I absolutely love his work and unique style, and hope to one day perfect my craft the same way he did

Rest easy to the Pittsburgh legend Mac Miller. The influence Mac had on my friends & I makes this loss so personal. His music spoke to us and guided our adolescence, both by inspiring us (being some Pittsburgh kids with big dreams) and having all sorts of anthems that are attributed to some of the best memories we’ve ever had. Thank you for inspiring me to follow my dreams, no matter what the odds. So much talent, gone entirely too soon. We’ll miss you Mac 😞🙏
