Proof & Parchment Hello! I'm Alicia and I'm a modern calligrapher and graphic designer plus the creator of Proof & Par

Proof & Parchment is the way for me to bring all of my passions to a one stop shop. It includes my work experience in the public & private sectors along with my side freelance projects from wedding calligraphy to small business branding. I want to be able to showcase all of my work and bring in new projects and opportunities for future collaborations. Balancing a variety of web based projects with free flowing calligraphy ink brings me joy and I can't wait to bring it to others!

One year ago this week, Carley and Jacob got married at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and I still think about this suite.

Deep blue letterpress, a vellum wrap with an illustration of the museum’s interior, and a floral outline liner tucked inside every envelope. The oval details card held the whole weekend, from the welcome party to the farewell brunch.

September and October’s classes also have pumpkin lettering at them end of class so you get a fun piece of decor that you wrote on to take home along with all the calligraphy supplies so you can spend this fall slowing down and start your calligraphy practice.
