This was an extremely hard decision to make and I tried to push through because I didn’t want to let you all down. 😔 I have come to truly see the incredible talent Pittsburgh holds! I hope you all continue to share it with eachother and the world! 🙌🏾 Stay united as artists! Continue to educate and uplift eachother! Continue to spread your beautiful light! I cannot wait to see what comes out of you all as you continue to grow!

Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council has been awarded $50,000 for their EFFA and is putting that money towards supporting art...

Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council has been awarded $50,000 for their EFFA and is putting that money towards supporting artists of color!

At least 90% of these funds will support artists of color, with 70% of funds going directly to Black artists, and 50% of this portion going directly to applicants who identify as Black women!

Today’s artist feature goes to .ccc ! Carah Chafin, founder of Deadhead Productions, is originally from Charleston, WV. She started off working at haunted houses and now, after 6 years of doing her craft, she continues to work as a freelance makeup artist and filmmaker in Pittsburgh! She is currently a junior at Point Park University studying cinema production.

Today’s featured artist is ! VO2K is an artist from Pittsburgh that has been on the scene for some time now but started to get a bigger buzz recently during his 2018 flood of music. It Started with a few EP'S "color" & "x2" these projects consisted of tracks with all different genre's so he could show his range. Then he dropped his breakthrough album for the year "Game Over Fame" this album was every VO2K wrapped into one really cool project. with songs like "Free" & "Forgetful" that have incredible Vibes. A style which has now become what he calls his own style of rap "Cool Raps". Last year VO2k dropped the album "x3" and the city loved it. Now he's gearing up to drop another album "Forever VO" this summer after the release of his new project that comes out June 1st titled "Up In Smoke".
