Hey Pittsburgh Arcade enthusiasts. It's been a minute or two. We've been preoccupied with our side project, The Church Arcade lately, but it's time to get back to button mashing business! We're looking to schedule the next Coin-Up Classic event, preferably in May or early June. Where should we have it at? Tag a Pittsburgh area arcade to cast your vote (arcade must have at least 8 video arcade and 4 pinball games to be eligible).

We just learned of the passing of Sega hardware legend Hideki Sato, father of the Sega System 1 arcade hardware (which was used for games like Choplifter and Wonder Boy). He also had a major role in the development of most of Sega’s home console platforms, like the Master System, Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast. Hats off to him and his loved ones, and thank you Hideki for sharing your talent with the gaming world.

Japanese gaming outlet Beep21 reported the news of his death on social media this weekend.
