Join artist Anne Melnyk for a full-day mosaic workshop dedicated to creating one-of-a-kind pet portraits in mosaic form. Students are encouraged to submit a photo of their pet in advance, which will serve as the inspiration for their personalized artwork. In a relaxed and supportive environment, you’ll dive into the fundamentals of this captivating art form while learning to work with stained glass and a variety of unique findings to create your own stunning mosaic wall hanging. Anne will teach you all the basics about mosaics and you will create a wall hanging from stained glass and findings. Learn how to make your very own mosaic artwork. It is fun and easy to begin your journey of mastering the tools and materials that make this timeless art form so fascinating. In a lively and supportive creative environment, you will be introduced to a variety of materials used in mosaics and will learn to use mosaic tools to cut and shape glass to put them together to make your own work of art!

Dinner is included with this workshop. BYOB. Ages 18+

Happy (almost) Spring! While I work on scheduling this year's art season, I can share with you the dates that are already set. Leatherwood is situated in the beautiful hills of the Redbank Valley. Built in 1888, the building was the Knight Brothers Creamery making ice cream, and milk for many years. You can still see some recipes and machinery hanging in the old creamery. In the 1950’s it was renovated as a General Store ...
