KIDS AERIAL YOGA SUMMER WORKSHOP!!

This class is geared for kids 9-12years old. Aerial Yoga is a beautiful combination of circus skills and a yoga class which encompasses the whole body. Aerial Yoga uses a soft fabric hammock that supports and suspends you while doing yoga poses. This innovative program blends the beneficial elements of traditional yoga methodology with the unique conditioning of the aerial arts, incorporating the balancing and stretching components of yoga with the strengthening and exhilarating components of aerial arts. No prior experience needed for this class.

When: 7/12-8/16
Time: 1:00-2:00

Last night Vertical Freedom hosted its first Chakra Based Aerial Yoga Workshop. We had a full house, and everyone did an amazing job! A huge thank you to Leigh, who guided everyone through guided meditation, and went to each participant to perform Reiki to enhance each posture. It was challenging, enlightening, and gentle! Thank you to all who signed up and let us guide you for 90 minutes!

NEW WORKSHOP ALERT!!
CHAKRA BASED AERIAL YOGA WORKSHOP
TAUGHT BY LEIGH AND TARA

Chakra Based Aerial Yoga involves aligning physical postures, (asanas), with the body’s seven main energy centers, the Chakras, to promote balance and well being. Specific poses are chosen to stimulate, or open, each Chakra, targeting corresponding physical areas and emotions. In this workshop, we will use Reiki to get the Chakras moving in the right direction, and clear out toxic blockages. we will do this using the aid of the Aerial Yoga Hammock to enhance the selected yoga postures to create a fusion of reiki, meditation, and asanas. Any level of fitness can sign up for this workshop.

When: 6/29 and 7/13
Time: 7:00-8:30pm
Cost: $45 each

IT’S A WRAP!!! Fantastic job done by student’s, staff, helping parents and former students, crew and all who helped to make this recital come to fruition! Most of you have no idea how many people it takes to put on a show of this magnitude! We are so incredibly lucky to have an incredible staff who all took on extra responsibilities like making signs, putting the program together, cutting music, selling snacks, dressing and changing costumes, etc etc! Thank you to all who helped from staff to PAC crew, to friends, family and even former students who volunteered to help! It means the world to us, and it truly can’t be done without you!
And the biggest THANK YOU goes to Miss Jo-Ann! Without your dream 47 years ago to open a dance studio, and teach kids your passion, none of us would be where we are today…especially me! I love you more than words can say, and I hope I made you proud of the incredible legacy you have created! Thank you for sharing your gifts with all of us…you are the most incredible woman I’ve ever known! And I’m so so proud to call you my mom!
