Where did summer go?! ☀️

I feel like I blinked and it was almost September!

I’ve been spending A LOT of time house painting this summer, and I’m so thankful to say business has really picked up — and it’s still going strong! 🏡🎨

The downside? There hasn’t been much time for classes at Studio Two Fifty.

And honestly… I’ve missed it. ❤️

I’ve missed being creative.
I’ve missed seeing all of you.
And I’ve missed those little conversations and laughs that happen when we’re all around a table making something together.

So, while I’m still busy with houses, I’m making room for some creativity at the studio again with PRIVATE PARTIES! 🥳

Gather some friends, celebrate something, or just make an excuse to get together and create!

I’ll share more about the projects and how private parties work in my next post, so stay tuned! 👀

I wanted to share this thought because WILLING verses READY makes a big difference!

This applies to creating and life. I like the whole plan and all my ducks in a row first. That was not the case when I started Studio Two Fifty. However, I'm so grateful that I stepped into it anyway, the best I could. So many amazing things have come from that WILLINGNESS to try.

What is something you've been putting off you are READY? What would change if you became WILLING?

We tell ourselves we’ll try someday.
When we’re less busy.
When we feel more confident.
When we’re “ready.”

But here's the truth, sweet friend:
Waiting until you’re ready might keep you stuck forever.
Because “ready” is a moving target.

What if instead... you just chose to be willing?
Willing to pick up the brush.
Willing to be a beginner.
Willing to show up for yourself.

That’s where the magic happens. 🎨
That’s where healing begins.
That’s where creativity unlocks parts of you you’ve forgotten — or maybe never even discovered before.

Inside every painting you create is a little bit of you — your courage, your curiosity, your joy.

This journey isn't about perfection.
It’s not about being an “artist.”
It’s about creating space in your life to play… to grow… to breathe. 💛

So if you’ve been waiting for a sign…
This is it.
Take that first step. Be willing.
And watch what beautiful things start to bloom. 🌼

What a fun and relaxing afternoon at Hamlett Lavender Farm! I met so many new and wonderful people 💜, watched the bumble bees 🐝 buzzing around the lavender, and of course painted 🎨. The bugs and gust of wind made it extra exciting 😀.

Today, I'm in the Studio, warming up for this Saturday at Hamlett Lavender Farm. Come support their Annual Lavender Extravaganza from 12pm-4pm with Local Vendors and Food Truck. You-Pick, and Lavender Baked Goods.

Plus, an opportunity to paint outside, where you'll Iearn to paint lavender! There are 3 workshop opportunities througout this event. Cost is $25.
