Today marks ONE YEAR of Deep Holler Designs!!

One year ago today, we took a dive off the deep end and did something some called “crazy”. We created something of our own. Deep Holler Designs was formed in our little garage way up in our little hollow.

What started as an idea has turned into something more meaningful than we ever could have imagined. In just one year, we have had the honor of creating approximately 300 custom orders and selling around 1,000 products. We had the honor to create wooden pieces representing a family, a business, a new baby, a marriage, a home, a memory, a milestone, or someone deeply loved.

Those numbers are so much more than orders and products to us. They are reminders of every person who chose to support our small business. Every sign, cutting board, ornament, door hanger, announcement piece, and custom design has been a part of someone’s story, and that is something we will never take lightly.

This first year has been filled with late nights, sawdust-covered clothes, learning curves, mistakes, growth, tired hands, happy tears, and so many answered prayers. There were moments we felt overwhelmed, moments we questioned ourselves, and moments we stood back completely in awe of what God was doing.

Today, our prayer over Deep Holler Designs is Isaiah 43:2.

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”

And today, we are not just praying over our business. We are praying over every family, every small business, every customer, every friend, and every person who has helped make this dream possible. We pray God blesses your homes, your businesses, your families, your finances, your health, and the dreams He has placed in your heart.
