Introducing our actor all the way from Vacationland itself aka Maine, we have August Thornton! August is a graduate from the University of Southern Maine where he got his bachelor of arts degree in theatre performance. He has been acting since he was 10 years old. It wasn’t until he was 13 when he realized that he wanted to be an actor after he played as the Cat in the Hat in Suessical Jr.
Later in life he went on to perform in countless theatrical productions. A few to name are Ellard in “The Foreigner”, Colonel Mustard in “Clue”, Mr Loyal in “Tartuffe”, Scott “In the Girl on the Train”, Robert in “Living on Love” and Billy Ray Jr in “On Golden Pond”.
Most recently he was seen in Northern Idaho at Silverwood Theme Park where he performed as a nerdy spazz of a wildlife Ranger named Eddie in “Silver Mine Shootout”, voiced acted for a moose puppet for a TYA show called “Marvin the Moose”. He even got to stay for their Halloween show called “Hellbillys” where he played a murderous hick named Billy Bob!
Aside from acting on stage August has been thankful enough to act in a few films, one of them was a horror anthology series called “The Untied State of Horror” where he got to have his story narrated by Doug Bradley who is known for playing Pinhead in the “Hellraiser” films and a political satire called “Chapman Speaks” which has gained a lot of popular attention with its early release.
