The Jesus Rally

The Jesus Rally The Jesus Rally is a worship Festival in Pigeon Forge, TN. July 12-15, 2017

Sort of like a mix between a modern music festival and a old fashioned tent revival, The Jesus Rally began 16 Years ago in the pavilion at Riverbend Campground in Pigeon Forge. Rex, the campground's owner, came to a group of local youth pastors with a very simple vision. He told those youth pastors, "I want to do something to reach the youth" and that year, he allowed any group that wanted to, to

camp for free the week after the 4th of July, and everyone that came worshiped together 4 nights in a row, with the size of the group growing every night. Over the next few years, with zero promotion the event grew into the unique, welcoming, country gathering we see today. It's all free, anyone who wants to come can camp for free and enjoy the worship and music, and the week continues to have the singular purpose of lifting up Jesus. Somehow word has spread and every year groups from as far away as Florida and Pennsylvania come to spend the week together. This year we're hoping to invite in even more to the East Tennessee area to come and experience even a night or two of this truly special and unique event.

A huge THANKS to everyone involved for another great Jesus Rally! Our bands: Zach Williams, Carrollton's Band Page, Dan Bremnes, Roger Williams & The All Mixed-Up Quartet; Speakers: Jason Roe, Roger Williams, Chris Kendall; Love That BBQ for feeding the artists; the dance teams, drama groups, singers & musicians; Rob, Amy, Evan, & Allison McCrady and Daniel Maxwell/Harmonic Productions for setting up and running all the sound and production (as well as managing about a thousand other things that need to happen, most of which none of us ever even think about); all the volunteers and staff around Riverbend Campground; 106.7/106.9 The Light for helping us get the word out; all the youth pastors, pastors, chaperones, drivers, and families that show up with their groups and are in the trenches each & every day helping to lead the next generation to an amazing journey with Jesus; and of course Rex McCarter who had the vision to start The Jesus Rally over 21 years ago, and who has given so much time & energy (and money) to make this such an amazing and unique event!
