** IMPORTANT UPDATE **

Hello, everyone! We have changed the location of our upcoming event, Festival of Banners!

After 8 events and years of fun, Vassal’s old site has been sold and the time has come for us to find a new home. While we have one in mind for the 2027 season and beyond, and there will be more information to come next year, we were thankfully able to find a venue for Festival of Banners.

The event is still in Indiana, about an hour west of our previous location.

We’ll see you there!

For the first time since the fall of the Empire de Lyonnais, an organization known as the Freeman’s League is reviving the historic Festival of Banners, a tradition once beloved during the Empire’s dominion. With the support of Duke Ceallach MacShirey, who is hosting the gathering at his seat, Castle Broghan, travelers far and wide are venturing to Albionne at his invitation. There, gold and glory await those who will take up the cause of one of the festival’s two competing teams!

Vassal LARP LLC. presents Event 8, “The Fall of Orstatt,” April 23-26, 2026.

Without warning, a coalition of Obrovoskans and Onogurs led by Voivode Olezka Zadroznitsky and Catbeg Khan invaded Nordenmark and took the castle of Orstatt. In response, King Maximilian Habrich called for allies and mercenaries alike to reclaim the castle and repel the invasion. This force, comprised of the Nordener mercenaries known as the Company of the Goose and Kurzenstrad retinues under Count Dimitri Maritz, marched to Orstatt.

A great battle ensued, and while the forces sent by King Habrich secured supply lines surrounding the castle, their siege was broken and their army defeated.
