ARTIST FUNDRAISER: FAUSTO FERNANDEZ — THE ESSENCE OF RESILIENCE

As our final exhibition on McKinley, the gallery is honored to host The Essence of Resilience, a fundraising exhibition in support of beloved Phoenix artist Fausto Fernandez.
Known for his vibrant mixed-media collages that weave together painting, photography, and found objects, Fernandez’s work explores culture, community, and human connection. His art is held in major museum collections and has been exhibited across the U.S. and internationally, including the Smithsonian’s George Gustav Heye Center in New York and the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto.
This past April, Fernandez suffered a severe stroke. While his recovery has shown remarkable progress, he faces a long road ahead, with ongoing physical and speech therapy. Proceeds from this exhibition will help offset his living expenses and mounting medical bills.
