“The world celebrates its newborns, and I sit here as Remy Black —Sorrowful King , watching life begin while carrying the weight of what’s been lost.
A baby sloth debuts in a zoo, fragile but protected . Meanwhile , my kingdom knows the sting of beginnings wrapped in silence and pain.
Today I dedicate to all newborns —not just the ones the world applauds , but the unseen , the unloved , the ones born into storms . May their tiny crowns never fall , even when sorrow runs deeper than joy.
This is a king’s vow: to grieve , to guard , and to never let innocence be forgotten 🖤.
The little one, who weighs only two pounds, got its name from its mom, Beanie, who became pregnant while at Rhode Island’s Roger Williams Park Zoo.
