GCU's Ethington Dance Ensemble

GCU's Ethington Dance Ensemble Grand Canyon University’s Ethington Dance Ensemble (EDE) is the pre-professional dance company in residence at the Ethington Theatre.

EDE also tours to local schools with the Elementary Dance Tour. Members are Dance and Dance Education majors at GCU.

ASU Gammage is seeking an experienced professional to manage the Beyond performance series residency, community and campus engagement activities and performances as well as other artist engagement initiatives and Cultural Participation programs, including Military Family First nights and Expressions. The ideal candidate will nurture and expand working relationships to outside organizations and key individuals to support our programs. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Programs and Organizational Initiatives at ASU Gammage. The work location is at Desert Financial Arena on Tempe Campus. This position is full time, salaried and requires a flexible work schedule to accommodate night, weekend and/or holiday events.

Posted salary: $ $48,960 to $53,000 annually; DOE

Students braved the Tuesday evening chill to perform and view the Fall Student Spotlight Dance Concert in the Quad. Like other productions this fall, it had to be moved outdoors with the audience socially distanced because of the pandemic. But the show must go on, and so it did – and will again at 8 p.m. today.
