January 26th marks 238 years of colonisation, dispossession, and systems designed to disappear us.  
 
What is there to celebrate? 
 
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people disappear at three times the rate of non-Indigenous Australians. Families are left to fight alone. Police dismiss cases. Media ignores us. Institutions fail us. 
 
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐬. 𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬, 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥. 
 
We don’t have government funding. We don’t have institutional backing. We have lived experience, expertise, and absolute commitment. 
 
To our allies: This is how you show up. Not with words. With action. 
 
Grassroots organisations like ours don’t survive on good intentions. We survive on community support. Fund the work that institutions refuse to do. Fund First Nations-led justice.

This feels like the hardest post I’ve ever had to write.

For those who’ve been here a while, you know Ginny’s Girl Gang isn’t just clothing to me - it’s been my heart, my passion, my escape. But this past year turned my world upside down in ways I never saw coming.

After everything with my brother, I’ve found myself being pulled in a completely different direction. One I need to follow with my whole heart.

I’ve been quiet lately because I’ve been trying to figure out how to say this. How do you tell a community that’s been everything to you that things are about to change?

This page will be evolving soon. I will share this with you all shortly, but I wanted you - to hear it from me first.

We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of Jai Gray (Malahki), who was found deceased after being murdered and dumped in the Glass House Mountains callously and unprovoked. Despite being under public trustee and NDIS, we've received no financial support for his funeral or related expenses. We hate to ask but if you can support in any way, please help us honour Jai and bring our family together during this difficult time. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a difference. Was so grateful to be invited to share my newest collection “Staunch” at Melbourne Fashion Festival!

These are 3 of my favourite looks from this collection! I have to give a massive shout-out to one of the deadliest models I’ve ever come across I literally got chills watching her come down the runway and teared up a little mostly because she literally was the staunchest person in the building that night but also because she reminded me a lot of my Mum and my Aunty Noni (she resembles them a little too- check out the last pics). Seeing Cassie walk instantly reminded me of the matriarchs in my family, how important they have been in my life, our community and the importance of my role as an Aunty. How amazing are the women in our community?
