We asked our cast to share a bit about themselves and their characters:

💬 Without giving anything away, what’s your favorite line of dialogue?
"Yeah? That's wrong, but yeah?"

🤔 What made you want to audition for This Is Our Youth?
"Some friends told me about the show and said that they could see me playing Jessica. I didn't know much about the play before, but after some research, I really wanted to play Jessica and knew that I had to audition."

🍿 Why should people come see this show?
"This show's theme of holding on to your youth while trying to be an adult is something that everyone can relate to. Also, if anyone grew up in the 80s, this show will be a great taste of nostalgia for them."

🧑‍🚀 Meet Warren, played by Caleb Conver, the "barking dog of a kid" you will meet in our upcoming production of This is Our Youth!
We asked our cast to share a bit about themselves and their characters:

🍿 Why should people come see this show?
"This show is so incredibly important. It delves into themes we often think about in our youth, but don’t discuss despite it staring us in our face: What should we carry with us into our adult lives and what should we leave to the past? How far would we go to create our own unique path forward in a world that makes us feel like we have no real options?"

💭 What’s your favorite childhood memory?
"My favorite childhood memory isn’t specifically one moment, because in the chaos, there are so many beautiful moments I hang on to. Like the memory of the Cog Railway in Colorado that took us to Pikes Peak. I also like to remember all the friends and family that were around me and had a positive influence on me. I still remember people I met in middle school and think about them every now and then. So, to truly answer the question, I have no one favorite memory, but a wide collection of them which I cherish with all my heart."

💵 If you had stolen $15,000 from your dad (theoretically), what would you do with it?
"I would definitely spend some of it irresponsibly, and get video games, movies, and collectibles like action figures; but I would probably feel bad after a couple thousand or so and put it into savings."

📺 Meet Dennis, played by Siôn Evans, the "cult god of high school" drug dealer you will meet in our upcoming production of This is Our Youth!
We asked our cast to share a bit about themselves and their characters:

😰 What's the biggest challenge about taking on this role?
"Dennis does not shut up. He thinks he’s the most important person in the room and so he likes to speak in walls of text without interruption. This is great news for Siôn fans, terrible news for Siôn’s brain. There’s a LOT of memorization, and fine tuning of the lines to make sure that they’re not only varied enough that they’re interesting to watch, but also coming from a real place."

🤳 If your character was their age in 2024, who would their favorite TikTok trend be?
"Dennis would have a superiority complex towards TikTok but would watch TikToks reposted onto Reddit, Instagram Reels, and YouTube shorts. And he still wouldn’t do trends, but his entire Instagram for you page would be “motivational” Martin Scorsese movie clips with rap songs in the background, stock market/crypto updates, and AI generated bikini girls."

⏱️ When you have a five-minute break during rehearsal, what do you spend that time doing?
"I like to bully Caleb."
