2020 was going to be such an exciting year. We finished the studio in early February, and we were excitedly lining up projects for the spring and summer. I'd finally built a space with all the things I wanted. It sounded fantastic. We were barely on our second project when covid hit. It sucks.

Music is something that has always given me a sense of community. I stopped doing it for a living because I didn't want to lose that enjoyment and escape from the world. Normally in tough times, I'd be doubling down on music and finding ways to collaborate with others. Obviously, that isn't happening this year.

Neither Hayden or I do this full time or for our day job. We do it because we love to mess with things, help people realize their creative vision, and build community. I will probably cry the first time I feel comfortable inviting all my friends over here to see the studio. I can't wait for that day.
