This is my newest commission for Steph and Zach (received their permission prior to posting!). They gave me some notes about what they wanted, used words like "vintage" "moody" and "wintery" and so I got to work after that! A few rounds of sketches and color studies later, we landed on this design inspired by the beautiful ceiling of their venue. I made sure to involve them in every step of the process, from sketching to printing, to eventually embossing.

I sourced this pretty handmade sage cotton paper all the way from New Zealand and it worked wonderfully! The second layer (the words) admittedly, had some trouble appearing opaque on top of the first layer (the ceiling print), so I turned to heat embossing which worked great. 90 invites are completed and turned over to Steph who is matching the envelopes to the paper using the same NZ paper store. Woohoo!

Note: Wedding details have been blurred so that's what you see at the bottom!

Friends of mine recently commissioned me to do linocut wedding invitations for them! This is layer 1 and the words will be layer 2. the design was inspired by the beautiful ceiling of their venue. And the paper is handmade from New Zealand! Can't wait to show the final product!! I'd love to do more of these so please reach out if you need some special wedding invites for your big day! I've been doing linocut forever and this feels like such a meaningful way to create unique prints like these.

i made 24 totes in a month back in April! Each one has a vintage fabric panel with a letter (u/v and x/y are on one panel, hence 24 totes instead of 26) and a corresponding flower, complete with an inner lining and sturdy straps! Some have sold but the rest are on my etsy now! I'm artjali on there too!

All linocut designs are hand-carved and printed by hand, so each one is one of a kind! I have something for everyone. Little ones, teens, and the young at heart!
