Day 5 is all about bringing it all together with our very own Founder, BSwan 🧑🏽‍🩰

Tonight, we’re closing out an amazing BSDC Summer Intensive ‘26 with none other than thee Owner, Founder and Executive & Artistic Director of BSwan Dance Company/Brand, leading our final Company Class/Repertoire.

For years, BSwan has remained committed to building more than great dancers. Through every class, rehearsal, and performance, she has created a space where artists are challenged to train with intention, perform with confidence, and pursue excellence both inside and outside of the studio. Her vision has become the foundation of BSDC and continues to inspire the next generation of performers and beyond!

Company Class focuses on refining technique, artistry, musicality, performance quality, and professionalism, while Repertoire gives dancers the opportunity to experience the movement, creative process, and storytelling that define the BSDC also known as ✨

As we wrap up an unforgettable week of training, we want to thank every instructor who poured into our intensive, every artist who stepped into The Pond ready to work, and every parent, supporter, and friend/family who continues to believe in our vision. Because of YOU, BSDC continues to grow, inspire, and make an impact.

Day 4 • Jazz with Bobbi Bordley✨

Tonight, we continue BSDC Summer Intensive Week with Jazz led by our very own Bobbi Bordley.

Bobbi has been a dedicated member of BSwan Dance Company for several years, and throughout her journey she has continued to grow into a strong, versatile artist. Her commitment to the process, willingness to learn, and passion for the craft have made her an important part of BSDC. We’re proud to have her leading tonight’s class!

Jazz dance is where technique meets performance. It challenges dancers to move with precision, musicality, confidence, and style while developing strength, flexibility, control, and versatility.

Day 3 is all about the foundation with a very Special Guest
Ms. Theresa Pelicata ✨

Tonight, we’re honored to welcome one of our longtime supporters and a true pillar in the dance community, Ms. Theresa, for Ballet.

A highly respected educator, mentor, and artist, Ms. Theresa has helped shape generations of dancers throughout our region. For many of us, she was our very first ballet teacher, and the discipline, artistry, and excellence she instilled continue to influence our work today.

As the Owner and Artistic Director of Theresa Pelicata -Director, she has spent years creating opportunities, building confident dancers, and making a lasting impact on countless young artists. Her commitment to dance education and our community is something we deeply admire.

Ballet develops technique, alignment, control, strength, grace, and discipline skills that carry into every style of dance.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome one of our favorites to The Pond tonight. Thank you, Ms. Theresa, for always believing in our vision and continuing to pour into the next generation and beyond!

Day 2 • Modern with Diamond 💎
Tonight, we continue BSDC Summer Intensive Week with Modern led by our very own Diamond Amore.

Modern dance is where technique meets emotion. It challenges dancers to move with intention, explore freedom beyond tradition, and connect every movement to a story. It builds strength, control, artistry, and the confidence to be fully present in your craft.

Diamond continues to be a beautiful example of growth, dedication, and artistry within BSDC. Today, she’s also the proud owner and director of her own dance studio Passion for the Arts, continuing to build a legacy of her own. Through her leadership, mentorship, and passion for dance education, she’s creating a space where young dancers can grow not only in technique, but in confidence, discipline, artistry, and self-belief. We’re proud to have her sharing her knowledge and passion this summer!

🚨 BSDC Summer Intensive ’26 | Day 1 of 5 🚨

We’re kicking off Company Week with one of our very own, Amina Nefertari, leading Hip Hop tonight from 6:00–8:00 PM. 🔥

Hip Hop is a powerful style built on culture, confidence, musicality, individuality, and self-expression. It challenges dancers to be present, intentional, and fearless while staying grounded in the foundation and history of the movement.

Amina represents exactly what BSDC is all about. Her consistency, passion, work ethic, and dedication to her craft is unmatched. We are incredibly proud of the artist and leader she continues to become, and we’re excited for her to kick off this week’s intensive.

We are beyond excited to officially announce our 2026 BSDC Summer Intensive Instructors!

Each summer, we create an environment where dancers are challenged, inspired, and empowered to grow. Our Summer Intensive is intentionally designed to expose our members to diverse teaching styles, fresh artistic perspectives, and purposeful training that strengthens both their technique and artistry.

One thing we take great pride in is investing in our own. Every summer, we provide members of BSwan Dance Company with the opportunity to step into leadership by instructing classes during our intensive. We believe in developing not only exceptional performers, but future educators, choreographers, and leaders within our organization.

✨NEW for Intensive 2026: Each summer, we love finding new ways to elevate our program and create meaningful experiences for our dancers. This year, we’re excited to introduce a Special Guest Artist, welcoming Theresa Pelicata to share her knowledge, artistry, and passion with our company. We can’t wait to have her share with us for this incredible week of training.

This intensive is more than just a week of dance… it’s a week of growth, leadership, community, and transformation. We look forward to investing in our dancers, celebrating the talent within our company, and continuing to provide endless opportunities!

It’s that time again…

We are beyond excited to announce the inaugural BSwan Dance Company Workshop!

This week-long professional intensive is designed to challenge, inspire, and give dancers a real look into what it takes to become part of the BSwan Dance Company.

Classes will be led by our very own company members, in-house choreographers, and directors—bringing you an authentic, high-level training experience from inside the pond.

We’re STILL floating after Sunday’s “BLXCK SWAN” 🖤🦢✨

Szn 8 was truly one for the books. From the energy in the room, to the love shown, to the unforgettable performances… thank y’all for experiencing it with us.
