Founded in 2014 by Rachel Segal and Kenneth Bean with the help of David Segal, The Primavera Fund seeks to continue the vision of Maestro Joseph Primavera that music is a powerful tool for building good citizens. By working together with music educators in Philadelphia, we provide the necessary tools for success to driven, young Philadelphians.

We proudly celebrate Primavera alumnus Na’Zir McFadden, who has been awarded the prestigious Sphinx Medal of Excellence.

Presented on March 4, this honor is the highest distinction awarded by the Sphinx Organization. Each recipient receives a $50,000 career grant in recognition of exceptional artistry, leadership, and outstanding contributions to the field.

Coming up in March!! The Primavera Fund will be hosting a three-part Musical Job Fair for students who want to learn more about their options as professional musicians. This class is free and open to all young musicians! March 11th, 18th, and 25th. More info to come on each class.
