*Catching Up* 🎶
Full disclosure: I do my own social media, so seasons like the fall and the start of a new year end up being a little silent on these platforms! But that doesn’t mean there’s nothing happening! Here’s a little 2 month recap-

1. Traveled to San Diego late August right before the crazy schedule started!
2. Started up wcu classes- have an amazing group of freshmen that I’ve enjoyed having in class.
3. Helped new teachers get settled with students, scheduling, and studio space. More details on our new teachers soon!
4. Had our first performance class! Students performed some pieces they worked on in the summer. Our three winners performed accurately and with beautiful expression!
5. Decorated for fall 🍁
6. Sightread Halloween songs 👻
7. Pulled out Christmas recital music!! 🎄
8. One of our student moms took it upon herself to generously give her time and efforts to add gorgeous plants to our beautiful sign 🌸
9. Received our 5 year Anniversary Recital pictures back and they did not disappoint 😍 (📸: ⋒ K E L L Y ⋒ ) Will share more of these too!
10. SCI Phoenix Piano class began again today! We had a great start to our intermediate class. We are still looking for a teacher to teach the beginners class- let me know if you or anyone you know is interested! (Will share more about that soon)

Although there’s been music going on all summer, we are looking forward to welcoming back all students and teachers in just a few short weeks!

While the full music schedule hasn’t started yet, the work certainly has! Behind the scenes, we’re finalizing lesson schedules, preparing materials, organizing studio rooms, and thoughtfully planning for each student’s year ahead. Every detail is intentional because we believe an exceptional music education begins long before the first note is played.

We can’t wait to welcome both new and returning families for another year of beautiful music together. Fall is almost here! 🎹🍂

Moms spend so much time cheering on their child’s musical journey, and now we want to give them a turn to experience the joy of making music! 🎵❤️

We’re excited to invite you to our very first Annual Musical Mom’s Night Out, a relaxed and fun evening designed just for the moms of our studio families.

Whether you’ve never touched a piano or it’s been years since you’ve played, this event is for you, mom! You’ll choose from a selection of beginner-friendly popular songs, learn to play with guidance from our teachers, and discover firsthand what it’s like to be a music student. Along the way, we’ll share practical insights into how parents can best encourage musical growth at home, as well as enjoy provided snacks and drinks, and great conversation with other studio moms.

It’s open to studio families only at this point, so reserve your spot soon if you haven’t already! We’d love to spend the evening with you!!

…it might lead to plants covering your windowsill and giving thank you notes for generous gifts given on your own business’s 5 year anniversary! 🥹 One of the things I LOVE about our town here in West Chester, PA is that it is almost exclusively small local businesses. Visiting a shop means more than finding or buying an item- it means chatting with the owner, supporting each other through good and bad times, networking with other neighborhood members, and cheering everyone’s success. Today I’m handing thank you notes out during my normal Friday afternoon town walk and it makes me so grateful for this community I live in! 🫶🏻 ❤️ The Green House BookmarksWC Taylor's Music Store
