MOM* shines a light on the inner thoughts that we have as potential mothers, stepmothers, bio-moms, and children of mothers. What did we expect things to feel like, and how do they actually feel? Shir Livne shares her truths in this tour de force solo performance, presenting her absurdist take on motherhood through circus, storytelling, and pages upon pages of fiery teenage journals. Shir is a Boston, MA based artist who specializes in aerial rope, tightwire, and clown. MOM* premiered in 2024, and was directed by Greg Jukes.

Hand to Hand Workshop
In their partner acrobatics workshops (hand-to-hand), Agathe and Adrien teach and explore foundational and advanced techniques and concepts of acrobatic lifts. All while promoting the core values of their practice, such as consent, communication, trust, and safety.
Having taught for several years, Agathe and Adrien aim to share, through their expertise in acrobatics, healthy training techniques for both the body and mind. Through movement, the duo addresses questions about power dynamics and our relationship with the body, offering tools they have discovered over years of questioning and deconstructing their own methods.
Through various exercises, participants can strengthen their technique in a safe environment, with challenges tailored to their level in the discipline.
The workshop is adapted to each audience, and is open to a wide range of participants including children, adults, sports enthusiasts, athletes, circus artists, beginners and advanced in acrobatic lifts. No experience necessary. Recommended for ages 8 & up.

“Hourglass” is a one hour contemporary juggling show performed and created by Luther Bangert. Centered around a suspended, swinging hourglass – open, trailing curtains of sand across the stage – the passage of time and our ways of measuring it are examined and explored.
Hourglass begins with a stage set simply with several piles of sand. As the performer enters the space, an hourglass appears as if from thin air – followed by juggling balls emerging magically from the sand. These moments of impossibility made possible are sprinkled throughout the show – objects hidden within the sand, finding just enough space or time to throw a ball around the fragile timepiece or avoid crashing into it. A visual feast unfolds throughout the hour through constant interaction between the juggling, the falling sand, body movement, and the swinging hourglass.
In modern society, we are constantly asked to ‘find’ more time, to do more with our time. Hourglass asks us – how we can shift this relationship to time within ourselves? What if – rather than constantly looking forward or backward and pushing ourselves to have or do more – we practice having and being enough?
Combining virtuosic technical juggling with fluid and expressive movement, above, below, and around the swinging hourglass – Luther Bangert invites everyone to contemplate different senses of time and enter a calm and ‘timeless’ space beyond that of our standardized clock time.
Hourglass is a meditation on the perception of time – an existential and performative tool kit for a softer relationship to the ticking clock.

“People in Public” explores how humans find brief yet magical moments of connection in an urban landscape. This whimsical all ages show is built as a series of interconnected vignettes, with a large ensemble cast.
There’s a certain magic to living in a city. Anonymity and sheer numbers can create loneliness, but also deeply touching moments of connection with people who just as easily disappear.
Take a deep dive into the instances where you make eye contact with a stranger on the train platform, and have a moment of shared understanding, presented in the language of physical theatre and circus.

Imagine:
A subway commute where strangers climb and flip atop one another.
A laundromat where the washing machines are aerial hoops, and everyone has brought their own emotional baggage.
Trash comes alive, and tries to evade the garbage men. Pigeons make a nuisance from a trapeze high in the air. A playground where the play is next level and an ice cream seller who hates children but shares their heart’s desire in a dream ballet.
In a time when loneliness is being decried as a national crisis, connection is the antidote. We hope our audiences leave feeling a little brighter and maybe, a little more faith in our shared humanity.

“Informed Chaos” is an acrobatic theatrical production that explores the disconnection between humans in today’s digital-focused society through missed connections, self-isolation, and the unspoken. The piece weaves life lessons together to encourage audiences to step outside the digital space: to send the letter they’ve been meaning to write, to say the things they are afraid to say, and to choose connection with the people they love. Circus is a passion, the stage is an outlet, and this art form is a powerful tool for navigating the chaos of the world. This message is conveyed through poetry in the form of letters, partner acrobatics, hand balancing, juggling, comedy, drama, and moments of reflection. The show is family-friendly with a 13+ recommendation.

Yes, You Can!
How do we appreciate and include those who are different? Differences can spark interest, curiosity, intrigue, and mystery. They can also trigger notions of fear and guilt that can lead to practices of impatience and exclusion. We, performing artists, and acrobats didn’t come to criticize. We came to amaze with acrobatics and to present a question. What’s the very best we can do with our differing gifts? The question is directed to all audience members, at every age and stage in life. Danny the Acrobat & Rebel Arts Movement present a dazzling case for the value of neurodiversity in the performing arts.

Egg Project
From the award-winning creative team behind xoxo moon girl comes a first look at “Egg Project” — a playful journey of self-renewal featuring duo handstands, bungee hair hanging, magic and physical theatre. As the lingering residue of a troubled past hangs in the space, two characters use the connection they discover to build a world where they can live their fullest dreams. Created by Nicole Burgio, and featuring Jo Kramer, Veronica Teidman and co-directed by Ben Grinberg, this performance will be an early chance to peak into this new world of brittle beauty and bounding transformation.

“The Quiet Hours” is about the time we spend in our heads dreaming of and dreading the events of our lives. Whether it be reliving moments from our past or creating scenarios in the future, this precarious space is playfully and cautiously occupied with a unicycle, some sticks, and an artist. Exploring themes of life, grief, and the space before death. The show features acrobatics, unicycle, and juggling as we follow the journey of a person given the space to grieve their own existence.

“Carnival of Feelings” is a durational interactive performance installation.
It looks a bit like a traveling circus from an older time. The Carnival of Feelings is meant to provide a safe, playful container in which participants can feel, show, and process big emotions within the supportive company of others.
Each Booth is similar to something you played at a state fair: Balloon Darts, Ring Toss, that game where you toss ping pong balls into little rings floating in a Kiddie Pool. BUT each booth has a twist to the way the game is played, so that you delve deeper into a stage of grief as you play the game. What if Balloon Darts forced you to examine ANGER in a new way? What if the Ring Toss caused you to examine how you might be DENYING your own limits?
The Carnival of Feelings can be explored solo or as a small group. The booths are structured to allow a participant to have maximum agency over their own journey. For example, want to tap out of a challenging booth and sit in the Recovery Tent with tea and a book of Zen poems? GREAT! Want to keep playing the POP THAT!!! Game until your arm falls off? ALSO GREAT!
The main rule here is Take Care Of Yourself. Go at the pace that feels right for you, and give grace to the other people on the journey with you.
There’s also prizes, magic, snacks, music, and a fortune teller.
Carnival of Feelings asks “What if the most thrilling games are actually the emotional rollercoasters within ourselves? Can playfully exploring deep emotions as a team shift our relationships to those emotions?”
