Extremely fortunate to be a recipient of the Illuminate the Arts grant from Creative Philadelphia. Even for a cultural powerhouse like Polkadelphia, being an artist is a financial challenge. To have the backing and support of a city that values the arts and puts its money where its mouth is makes us all feel respected and appreciated. This will go a long way towards our goal of a pair of lederhosen for every citizen of Philadelphia.

Well once again we come to the end of Polka Season! We ended up playing around 40 shows in September and October and traveled to 4 different states. Thank you all for dancing and singing with us all month long. We’re gonna take a little polka nap and rest up, but we’ll be back before you know it. See you all soon!!
