✨ A Magical Evening of Pure Devotion: Samarpan Review ✨
What an unforgettable musical journey we experienced at Happy Colony Sabhagruh, Pune! Our thematic concert, Samarpan, was a true offering of classical brilliance and soulful devotion, performed before a packed house and a deeply appreciative online audience.
The evening commenced with a beautifully rendered Raag Bhimpalas, setting a serene mood, followed by an intense and masterful exploration of Raag Shree. Vocalist Ankita Deole, a premier disciple of Vidushi Padma Talwalkar, captivated everyone with her pristine gayaki, next presenting a short yet brilliant Raag Raageshri.
The second half transitioned into pure spiritual bliss as Ankita ji presented soul-stirring abhangs, including ‘Vishnu maya Jaga’ and ‘Aga Vaikunthichya Raya’.

Harmonium: Shri Leeladhar Chakradeo (provided seamless, intuitive support throughout)
Tabla: Shri Tejas Majgaonkar (kept a flawless, elevating rhythm)

A Night of Purab Ang: A Sold-Out Success! 🎶✨
We are still vibrating from the magic of April 10! An Evening of Purab Ang was a complete sold-out success, and the energy in the room was truly transcendent.
The journey began with a soulful exploration of Raag Jog, followed by the lush, melodic beauty of Rageshri. Piu Mukherjee held the audience spellbound, weaving through masterful bandishes composed by the legendary Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande and Gyan Prakash Ghosh.
The evening was a true celebration of the Banaras and Gaya traditions:
🌸 A vibrant Hori Thumri that brought the colors of spring to life.
🐎 A jaunty, high-spirited Shori Miyan Tappa that showcased incredible vocal agility.
🎤 Heartwarming audience requests including a beautiful Bengali song.
🙏 A divine conclusion with the timeless bhajan, “Baaje Muraliya Baaje.”
She was accompanied by the brilliant Kedar Naphade on Harmonium and the masterful Indranil Mallick on Tabla, creating a seamless tapestry of sound.
