Large Round Petal Kanzashi Flower Maker from Clover #8481

Make lovely flowers from 4" scraps! This tool makes it easy, and works just like the yo-yo maker you might have seen. Clover makes the best tools, like the Kanzashi flower petal makers. Have fun making flowers from your stash!

Safe wringing technique...
There's a reason Maytag stopped making these and destroyed the dyes. If you use one, you have nobody to sue. Of course, you're in greater danger driving.

26 Colors – Summer 2026

The colors listed here are scheduled to be dyed again in the next few weeks. You will get yardage unironed, in 1-yard cuts unless you add a comment during checkout. Fabric choices are in the works . . . The maximum cut size is 3 yards. Quantities available vary (at the start) between 15 - 20 yards. Once they're gone, they're gone! The picture shows the colors grouped by recipe; the three greens on the lower right are recipes being dyed in only one value. Additional notes: And of course, the colors on your screen, my screen, and the color scanner tool are just an approximation! Note: to my eye, the blues in row 4 read as blue-grey.

In the hotel lobby sports bar at Handa airport. Certainly not a beer-bro bar with 10 TVs the size of my living room rug. At any rate, I'm enjoying the view *and* the reflections. As a photo, it needs cropping, but it has potential!
Winging my way home tomorrow!

At Nest in Kyoto. The first picture is the eraser department, then pop-up Mt. Fuji, a furoshiki (or maybe a tea towel), and two panels of a 6-panel calendar.
