She learned her art skills by studying the techniques of sculpting, painting, and drawing. While attending college her art history course also inspired her. She learned the history of famous painters and the w

Christina’s work was displayed in many art exhibits that was sponsored by the college and at the high school she attended prior to college. After graduation she started her art career as an Art Instructor for an after school Art Program. Her job entails teaching young Artists who are interested in the Art Field. Christina shows them how to use different drawing techniques and color order. As an artist, Christina specializes in the drawings and paintings of still life and wildlife (for example: animals and birds). Her inspiration is Andy Warhol, especially his artwork and the colors he use. Other areas she also specialize in is working with bronze and welding. Christina will always continue to seek new techniques in the Art Field.

Today at Charter Arms, we opted to focus on paints and pastels. I developed a customized lesson plan incorporating a patriotic theme in celebration of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Fourth of July. The experience was enjoyable for all participants. I added my picture as an example

On day 4 after completing a 3-hour hike to Boulder Field yesterday, I realized we could have driven to the location. The drive takes 22 minutes and includes a ton of potholes along the way. We discovered there's a campground, various parks, and a beautiful lake to go swimming, which is on our summer bucket list. When we got to Boulder Field, we couldn't leave the cats in the car. Since we couldn't climb the rocks like yesterday, we sat there and enjoyed the view. It was crowded, and Garfield was the center of attention, so we let people pet him.

my husband and I have scheduled an extensive hike. Hickory Run State Park is our chosen location, notable for its vast array of trails - over 40 miles that cater to a wide range of hiking abilities, from gentle, family-friendly paths to more demanding routes. The park's attractions include the waterfall hike to Hawk Falls, the Boulder Field's striking landscape of boulders, and the Shades of Death Trail, which offers breathtaking views but poses a significant challenge. Our plan is to visit two trails, with our activities spread across the morning, afternoon, and into the evening. As we were on our trail we came across the waterfall which is why we were there. It was definitely a beautiful day to be out. There are a variety of different trails that are like 20 minutes or more away from here that I would definitely like to visit and we would like to check out their waterfalls as well. Lol it's not worth the gas ⛽
Happy hiking 🥾

We aimed to finish our adventure on the far side of Hickory Run State Park by exploring the Boulder Field, a trail estimated to take three hours or more to complete. While some hikers opted to stop at the trail intersection, my husband and I persisted, driven to experience the vast 16-acre rock field, 400 feet wide and 1,800 feet long. On our adventure there, it started to thunder a little, then the rain slowly came. Next thing you notice, it was a downpour, but that didn't stop us; we just kept going. Once we got there, we were not disappointed at all. The view was breathtaking, steam was lifting off the stones, and the sun was still shining bright. We stayed and walked for a good 30 minutes, and I think there's a way we can park closer next time. Afterwards, we started to head back before the sun went down, and we wanted to be out by 9 pm. We would definitely go back again because there were more trails to check out. It's just so amazing, sometimes just to be out with nature and to see what God created.
