THE POWER OF PAINT: When West Philly kids seek to express themselves through art, they can find it all within the Power of Paint. It’s an art academy developed by Teisha Brown, where mentors guide them through each brush stroke, providing them lifelong experiences and connections. Experience the story on my page!

We took Afterschool OUTSIDE 🌱🎨

Today Power of Paint stepped into the world of agriculture + design in collaboration with Future Standard — and our young creatives got their hands dirty in the best way possible.

We didn’t just paint…
We planted.
We didn’t just design…
We learned how things grow.

From potting flowers to talking about food systems, sustainability, and how design shapes the spaces we live in — our students saw that creativity doesn’t stop at a canvas. It lives in the soil. It lives in community. It lives in collaboration.

Art meets agriculture.
Color meets cultivation.
Creativity meets responsibility.

This is what hands-on learning looks like 🌼
This is what growth looks like — inside and out.
