Founded in 2012, Arch Enemy Arts is an exhibition space for established and emerging artists from all over the world, actively working in the vast and imaginative movement of New Contemporary Art. The curation at Arch Enemy Arts focuses on representational drawing, painting, and sculpture with emphasis in pop surrealism, magical realism, and post-graffiti genres. Our programming provides access to

a range of artistic expression through a variety of styles and mediums—dedicated to showcasing the strikingly unconventional, highly technical, and utterly bizarre. The Gallery:
With over 1,500 square feet of exhibition space, AEA releases new exhibitions every two to three weeks, featuring multiple solos and one group exhibition per month. The best way to stay up-to-date with our programming is to sign up for our bi-monthly Newsletter. There, you can request the Collector’s Preview for a particular show and receive early-access to exhibitions before the general release. Opening receptions for all of our shows take place on the First Friday of every month from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. as part of Old City District’s First Friday event series. The Boutique:
Our store-front boutique displays a rotating curation of original past catalog artwork as well as fine art giclée prints, screenprints, and small items like pins, patches, stickers, cards, jewelry, and apparel. We carry Hi-Fructose and Beautiful Bizarre magazines and tend to have issues in stock even after they’ve sold out online. Prints, apparel, and select boutique inventory can be found in our online store.

We have a feeling that a lot of people are going to see a little bit of themselves in Edith Lebeau’s new solo. The new work turns social anxiety, isolation, and the instinct to hide away from the world into seven beautifully painted portraits that feel *super* relatable. Edith’s CATCHING FIRE will debut this First Friday 9/4 with opening reception hours from 5-9pm. If you’re interested in seeing/shopping the new work before it goes public email us with EDITH LEBEAU in the subject line and we’ll add you to the preview link release on Thursday 9/3 at 2pm ET. All you have to do is set your alarm.

After a couple postponements we’re happy to announce that Kurt Lluch’s first AEA feature is FINALLY happening! PARABOLA is a fantastic new collection of seven shaped panel paintings focusing on perseverance, hope, and pushing forward when things don’t go to plan… which feels pretty fitting for a show that had to do a little persevering of its own. PARABOLA will debut this First Friday, September 4th with a preview link releasing via email on Thursday September 3rd @ 2pm ET. If you’d like to get on the list, email us with KURT LLUCH in the subject and we’ll make sure you get it. If you’re local, join us for our First Friday event! Doors are open from 5-9pm.

Edith Lebeau’s new solo CATCHING FIRE opens next week on First Friday, September 4th, and it’s definitely for anyone who loves when plans get cancelled, appreciates a good weighted blanket, and is already looking forward to the cozy season waiting on the other side of summer. Exploring social anxiety, agoraphobia, and the mental health struggles many of us experience, Edith has created seven somber, tender, and beautifully painted portraits of women and nonbinary artists, friends, and influences for this new series.

If you’re interested in checking out CATCHING FIRE before it debuts to the general public on First Friday, email us with EDITH LEBEAU in the subject line and we’ll get you signed up for the preview link release on Thursday, September 3rd @ 2pm EST.

There’s something so exciting about seeing Rebecca Reeves take the materials and themes she’s known for and completely reimagining them. This new series feels like a serious level up and we cant wait for you to see it. Rebecca’s hand-beaded florals and vintage photographs are familiar territory, but the custom made frames and dimensional portraits take them somewhere completely new.

Come see and celebrate LIKE A LEAF ON A BREEZE, YOU BLEW AWAY next week on First Friday, September 4th. Rebecca will be joining us! The collectors preview goes out Thursday, September 3rd at 2pm EST. Email us with REBECCA REEVES in the subject line to request access.

Important question: what did you call the fuzzy dandelions as a kid? I always knew them as “wishies” but I’m finding out today that it wasn’t a universal term everyone knew. Did you have another word for them?

Whatever your answer, there’s plenty of them floating around in mary esther muñoz’s “Dandelion Ghost” (available) - the largest piece in her new solo, GRIEF AND FLOURISH. Between the gorgeous details, and the in-between summer and fall vibes, this feels like the perfect scene from a goth’s dream garden. Swipe for the full view.

Come see GRIEF AND FLOURISH in person through September 13th, or join us on First Friday September 4th from 5-9pm with a fresh lineup of new exhibitions waiting for you. If you can’t make it to the gallery, the whole exhibition is available to view on our website. DM/email if you have any questions.
