KYL/D’s Inhale Performance Series is a quarterly performance series where selected artists receive free performance space, marketing support, technical assistance, videography, photography, and audience feedback. Inhale offers a supportive environment that fosters creative exchange of ideas, cultivates community and provides opportunities for members of the public to experience a wide spectrum of artistic disciplines. To date, KYL/D has presented over 1,200 movement artists from PA and beyond. The shows often fill to capacity!

We talked in detail about Courtyard Dancers’ alternate model, how we have intentionally built a multi- layered community in Philadelphia over 25 years.
