Bio
Diane Collins studied at WC University, Hussian School of Art, and Fleisher Art Memorial. She is a ’97 graduate of PAFA where she was valedictorian and the recipient of numerous awards including “The Ward Prize in Sculpture” and the coveted “Cresson Memorial Travel Scholarship” which provided independent study throughout Europe in ’96. She designed and sculpted toy prototype figures for Tyco, Matel and Playschool. Collins has taught at local art centers, run creative workshops locally and at Ring Lake Ranch in Wyoming. She teaches Animal Drawing, Animal Sculpture and Animal Ecorche at PAFA and Fleisher. She was selected for a teaching residency at Millcreek School in Philadelphia and Middle Township School in NJ. Diane has exhibited at Stanek Gallery, Rosenfeld, Crane Arts, Arnot Art Museum and Artist's House on the east coast, as well as The Mateel Gallery in California. Her work is currently represented by Cerulean Arts Gallery in Philadelphia and can be found in private collections throughout the U.S. and abroad.
